Damp and Timber Surveys/Reports

At BRICS Surveyors are specialist in damp and timber defects with fully qualified CSRT surveyors, qualified through the Property Care Association (PCA). 

We are independent surveyors who do not have the need to job build as our views are impartial.

 With our specialist equipment and our intellectual knowledge we are confident in finding the cause of an issue, its significance, any associated defects, and recommending remedial treatment. 

We offer a various option to meet the needs of our clients,. 

We are happy to inspect either single, multiple or full properties. All our damp and timber inspections will be at the same level. However it is what you would like back is optional. 

We have a cheaper option of our inspection where you will receive a summary of our inspection with a brief descriptions of the our findings, associated defects, the cause of the defects and recommended remedial treatment. 

The second option is a full report. This will be a formal report describing the issues in more depth. These reports are generally used for purchasers, vendor and landlords.  With most lenders/banks accepting our report. 

We are happy to provide a guidance cost for the recommended remedial treatment at request.

While conducting our surveys we noted a number of clients had previously had contractors conduct damp and timber surveys for them. This would generally result in a build up of unnecessary work. As we understand the needs of our clients, we do not carry out any work or have any association or recommend any contractors to conduct the work. Therefore, our views are ALWAYS impartial and we always recommend the best way to rectify an issue.
